"I took the one day intensive beginners course and I cannot recommend it more highly...
I learned a lot about my DSLR camera. The instruction from Jon Mortimer was extremely clear and helpful throughout and he made sure everyone felt comfortable asking as many Qs as they wanted...
The class and facilities are set up to be small, friendly and unintimidating and it works. People were doing the course for all sort of reasons from family snaps to wanting to go on to make images for commercial purposes so there was a decent mix of DSLRs and participants, it was not all high spec cameras....
I learned a huge amount to try out and put into practice and after a weekend of firing off shots I am much more confident with my camera. When I look and see a poor shot rather than throw up my hands I can figure out what went wrong and think about the adjustments I could try in order to resolve it in future.....
I am looking forward to taking a follow on course in a month or two’s time.’"
