This hands–on course is delivered on location in Central London and not based in a classroom environment. It fully concentrates on the practical and creative use of your Digital SLR and is delivered both indoors and outdoors. This Photography course is aimed at beginners who own a Digital SLR camera and want to take creative control over it.
The course is also aimed at people who might need a "refresher" in photography. Learn to speak the language of your camera and how to create various effects, such as a shallow depth of field (a very limited area of the image is sharp), freezing and blurring motion as well as panning moving subjects.
Once you've completed the course your images will be critiqued by your tutor via Flickr.
Due to the temporary close of the Photographers' Gallery, a new meeting point nearby Oxford Circus has been arranged.

"I was really impressed with Vicki. She was full of encouragement and advice, but never patronising. The whole day she made sure the entire group got to grips with the tasks and I felt we all got equal amounts of attention."
